HP DL380 G2 - Rackmount Rail Guide
Our Rackmount Rail Guide serves to show how the HP DL380 G2 can be rackmounted in both 4 post and 2 post configurations. RackSolutions offers the 2POST-2UKIT and 4UKIT-003 as mounting solutions for this server chassis.

+ HP Standard Sliding Rails
Used for HP square hole racks only (29.12" mounting depth)
+ 3rd Party Rack Kit
HP-HP P/N 228894-B21. Used for round hole and threaded hole 4Post racks from 23.75" to 34" mounting depth. Square hole racks require cage nuts.
+ 2Post center mount
Use the HP 3rd party cabinet rack kit along with the standard HP sliding rails (supplied with the server). Convert 2U of 2Post rack to 4Post using 2POST-2UKIT
+ 2Post flush mount
Use the HP 3rd party rail kit and 4UKIT-003 (2 servers per 4U kit)
+ 4Post square hole racks
Only use HP standard rails for HP square hole racks (29.12" mounting depth).
Use the HP 3rd Party Cabinet Rack Kit along with the standard HP sliding rails (supplied with the server) for all other square hole racks.
+ 4Post round hole racks
Use the HP 3rd Party Cabinet Rack Kit along with the standard HP sliding rails (supplied with the server).
+ 4Post threaded hole racks
Use the HP 3rd Party Cabinet Rack Kit along with the standard HP sliding rails (supplied with the server).
+ Double 2Post racks
Use the HP 3rd Party Cabinet Rack Kit along with the standard HP sliding rails (supplied with the server).
