This RackSolutions 1U KVM is available in 8 and 16 port options. This features a LCD 17 inch HD monitor which includes our mouse and keyboard. The monitor’s switches allow the option to alternate between computers without powering off the KVM, saving time. The 8 port has a power consumption of 17 watts and the 16 port with 23 watts. In addition, it has a port on the back to assist the KVM with an external connection. This product works with PCs including PS/2 keyboards, USB, and mouse connectors. The control center requires logins to maintain strict security, and includes a broadcast mode which allows selected computers to be working concurrently. This KVM unit also allows 8 or 16 computers to be controlled directly, but by adding up to 31 cascading switches you can maintain 256 or 512 computers as well. The RackSolutions 1U KVM unit is constructed of steel and is arranged on sliding rails which rack mounts to 4 post server racks.
