Our extensive range of rack mount power strips (PDUs) are available in a variety of sizes and options. They will install in most racks or server cabinets that meet EIA standards. PDUs allow power to be distributed from one easily managed location into the rack. Power may originate from a UPS or directly from the mains. There is a selection of terminating plugs on our power strips, as well as options for surge protection and digital ammeters. For specific custom requirements, contact our sales team.

When a large, transient voltage enters the PDU through any one of the terminals, the surge protector attempts to re-route this transient voltage away from the PDU and back down the incoming mains cable. This creates a temporary dead short and moves the brunt of the transient voltage to ground. |
